AACD Journey & Professional Growth
Dr. Schulte first attended the AACD Perioperative Leadership Summit over 10 years ago to gain insight and look for advice from others. As a new Clinical Director and just beginning his academic career, he found anesthesiologists who faced the same operational problems and all shared the same mindset: increasing operational efficiency while still promoting patient safety.
From giving lectures at the summit to presenting and mentoring junior faculty presenting operational research, Dr. Schulte has become an active member of the AACD. His evolution from seeking guidance as a new clinical director to becoming a mentor and leader within the organization exemplifies the collaborative spirit and professional development that AACD fosters among its members.
